Wilber's is my favorite 'cue place in the whole U.S. of A.

For those of you in NC that say Charlotte does not have good BBQ, try this place.  Best I have ever had.

If I had meant for this thread to be about "current events" I would have posted it under misc.
 
I must admit that were I from Mars and looked for the first time upon a plate of brisket next to a plate of minced whole hog, the brisket would look more appetizing. 
 
But, the first fork-fulls would change my mind.

Not as crazy about KC BBQ, finding it a bit too sweet, I find all other barbecue good variations of a delicious theme. When I'm in Texas, love the brisket; Carolina give me whole hog chopped with some pepper vinegar. It's all good.
Oh and I heard Alaska now has a road to nowhere by some governor's order.

Being a fan of Carolina BBQ, There are many fine places to enjoy. Bib's Rib's in Winston-Salem has some mighty fine Beef Brisket also. The Smoker was made in Texas.. and the Food would change even a politicans mind! IMHO the Rib's are so good you can't stop eating them. We are blessed with alot of fine BBQ.. and Bib's is able to make Beef Brisket, Hot Links, and our so loved Carolina Q.

I have yet to meet a politician who will turn down pork.

 
And bridges to nowhere, my favorite is in St. Thomas.  Sitting there along the road, about 3-4 feet higher, an unaccessible bridge.  MH was a resident, maybe he can shine some light.

It's just another effort to solve the traffic problems. When I lived there I proposed the ultimate answer, but for some reason the Senate and the governor didn't agree. I suggested that all the roads be made one way -- eastbound. That way it would end up being a Coast Guard problem. They didn't exactly tar and feather me, but they petitioned The Associated Press to transfer me to Zimbabwe.
