Fire Suppression Units in PA

Is anyone clear on whether or not a complete fire suppression unit is needed in Pennsylvania? I've heard they are necessary if you are using a Fryer but if you only have grills they aren't needed. I would hate to not install one since its not deemed necessary in my township, only to move over to ANOTHER township and find out its needed.

Good Point. Which leads me to my second question- Is the entire suppression system able to be installed at a later date. Say we meet our State and surrounding townships requirements, work- then find ourselves in a better position, financially, to install it. Do you know if that is a physical possibility?

Yes you can retrofit an ansul System, BUT it'll be more expensive than doing it from the start.
