I saw this book at a charity auction recently and bought it. It is a really awesome look at the Texas BBQ scene with excellent photographs of some familiar names. Apparently it was released in 2009 but I only stumbled across it recently. A good friend gave me this book for my birthday in 2010. A very nice book but, it becomes outdated every few years because of all the new four and five star BBQ joints opening more often, now. But, still a very nice book, indeed.

If you want to read about Franklin's and John Mueller, the last issue of Texas Monthly is awesome (if you haven't already seen it).
