You can send me a pvt mssg or whatever, but I'd love to start a pod or alliance and do some of the wonderful/ exciting / hard and rewarding work our cohort's are doing around the country. I'm in Balt County... i've been following your posts. I can hook you up with the guy who did mine if you want when you are ready. He's up in CT and comes down all the time to do work. Another food truck in Baltimore is going to use him too. I'll shoot you a PM in a few, I gotta tackle this wall in my house that I drilled 6 holes in to hang a shelf... I can build food trucks, but I can't seem to get this floating shelf to stay up.. GO Figure !!!  lol

Hey WD, it's me again, how's the biz going? Is your paint job acheiving the desired effect? Well, since my last post to yur thread  a couple of things have changed on my end.
I have since decided on a vinyl adhesive logo for cost ( my airbrush guy was only penny's cheaper than a wrap) as well as i think vinyl will show what I want to get across anyway. Equally as important, I recently dealt w/ Balto in reference to co. permit. Since your already up / running what would you suggest? County vs. City Permits if you had to choose one. 1 Co. college campus  literally showed me the EXIT BEFORE I could even finish my proposal spiel... (existing contract w/a giant) One that's serve's hockey puck's as hamburger's /plastic fr. fries to students by the way... I mean a bystander wouldv'e thought that I was the rival school football scout trying to woo their QB.
On the other hand City is just plain expensive. Since youv'e been operating has the permit investment been worth it? One inspector gave me his opinion I need to know from the trenches.  P.s. Your Website's cool too.

            Idea for your clear coat:
            rickwrench com/50dollarpaint.html
This guy used Rustoleum and a foam roller to paint his car.  If you google it plenty of people have done it.  They use thinner and roll on many thin coats.  Rustoleum makes a clear paint, so if you wanted to roll on a clear finish it should work just fine.  The instructions are in the broken url provided above.
Just remember, as always try a test sample piece or an unseen location before doing it on the good paint job.

I don't think I'd try this but I don't doubt it would work. And it's interesting that I was just talking to an older paint man about buffing stainless steel and eventually we started talking about buffing painted surfaces.  He explained to me that at one time all cars were painted with a brush (enamel paint) and hand wet sanded using gasoline as water is used today.  All in all a very interesting link. Thanks.
