Saw a post in a thread about POS systems in food trucks. The message was on-topic in the thread, gave useful information out of the context of his product, was open that he had a product to sell, but did not push his product over other similar ones. I think it comes pretty close (or should be considered to come pretty close) to a model for new users who come here with advertising their own product in mind (although I suspect he included a web link which got taken off).
