Chanfana Portuguese dinner dish enjoy!!!!!
8lbs of lamb or Beef cut into square 3inch pieces
10 garlic gloves smashed
1 bay leaf
1 large fresh mint leaf
teaspoon of paprika
half teaspoon of hot sauce
half cup of olive oil
1 large onion chopped
Salt to your taste
3 cups of red wine( merlot) or until meat is totally covered put in fridge and let it sit all night, then cook in crock pot on low and by the time you com home from work it will be done and boil potatoes or white rice. Or place in a pan in a preheated oven of 375 degrees F and cook for about 2 hours, uncovered, until meat is tender.
