Not mentioned in the article is Rutt's Hut, minutes away from Giants Stadium.

I'm not sure if it was one of the places mentioned in the article, but I like the sausage carts outside Fenway Park on Lansdowne Street. Sausage, peppers, and onions. Yummm! Glenn

I agree, mushrooms on a Brat? That's heresy! It was kraut, sauteed onions and good german mustard for me-

John Fox Not mentioned in the article is Rutt's Hut, minutes away from Giants Stadium. Sorry John but the article was referring to BASEBALL Stadiums only. Certainly, Pre or Post Giants/Jets games they qualify! Maybe they could name a Dog in honor of Tebow??? How 'bout the Holy Ripper, slathered in Heavenly House-made Relish.

It would appear as though our own Biker Jim will be setting up his new food truck outside of Coors Field this year. His brick and mortar operation on Larimer is only a few blocks away, as is. I'd throw his hat in the ring for best dog/sausage near a MLB stadium.

There are several competing sausage carts along Lansdowne. I think there are some on Yawkey Way, as well. Glenn

Hey now...SSS is a far better product than ketchup but I only use it when tailgating; never any other time. I wouldn't say Old World 3rd Street is "near" Miller Park, though. The authors should've just said that there's no sense in trying to find a place better than the MP parking lot.

I'm a big fan of 35th Street Red Hots. 35th Street is owned by the Wiener Circle and the Red Hot Ranch. They serve a classic Chicago hot dog and Polish, fresh cut fries, and some of the finest fried shrimps in Chicago

I plan on trying a Natedogs dog when I visit Target Field in September.

I have eaten at the Hot Dog carts outside of Safeco Field in Seattle, they are special and very good. Sausages, wurst and dogs all have been good. Nothing outside of Turner Field in Atl., go to the Varsity first or pay an arm and a leg inside.

Lettuce on a Chicago dog? I don't think so. And green bell pepper? C'mon ...

I don't disagree with you on the lettuce and bell pepper--I would never order my dog like that--but Byron's has been around for a long time, with multiple locations, and they've been serving their Hot Dogs with that combination from day one, so someone must enjoy it. Buddy

I actually did stop at Dominic's Hot Dog Cart on my way to Citi Field a couple of years ago. The dogs (griddled natural casing Sabretts) were every bit as good as they look in the picture. But..10 minutes away from Citi Field?? Maybe at 40 mph thru the empty streets of Queens early on a Sunday morning, but on game day it was more like an hour. PS: Last night I was watching the Mets game from Atlanta, and they showed a shot of The Varsity Grill. It looks like it's right over the outfield fence, so I guess the article missed that one.

They need to let the Varsity set up shop at Turner Field - it would be a huge improvement. There is a constant line at the Georgia Dome for Falcons games.
