Real name of Fake?

At restaurants do you give them your real name when asked? I've always given my real name and never thought to give them something else. I always give my first name and never my last name. I have a friend who gives names of the British royalty. The vibrating disk has kind of impersonalized it, but what if asked...

When I lived in the Boston I often checked in under the "Charles River" name. Other time it was "Charles Roast", but you can call me CHUCK ! That was a long time ago. We seldom wait long enough to need one of the 'House-arrest' flashers.

The older you get the earlier you eat and rarely need to wait. I'm working down to arriving on a bus for the 4 PM dinner buffets and sneak bread sticks into my cargo pants. But when I do wait I just give them my real name. They usually only want a first name and maybe last name initial.

" Loud, party of four." That was when I was younger and more obnoxious. Now I always use "Jeff Sanders." The name, though obviously fake, always seems to get me excellent seating. Have you seen the "Michael Jordan" ad on ESPN?

Have you seen the "Michael Jordan" ad on ESPN? Are you aware that Jeff Sanders was a guard who was drafted in the first round by the Bulls in 1989 and played alongside Jordan?

I honestly can't remember the last time I had to give my name, since the only places that do that around here are either chains or horribly expensive. They did give my mother a vibrating disk while she was waiting for me to come out of knee surgery, though...that made me giggle a lot. On the rare occasion I have to give a name, I just tell them my first name. A friend of mine always tells them her name is Bob, though, because no one EVER gets her actual name correct.
