BOSTON MONTHLY MEETUP - Thursday, May 10th

Hola!  Mexican it is.  We're meeting at 5:30 in Allston at Lone Star Taco Bar, 477 Cambridge Street, next to Deep Ellum.  From there we will venture to Dorado's in Brookline for mexican comparisons - tacos, grilled corn, etc...  If time and appetites allow, we may venture to El Pelon Taqueria, 2197 Commonwealth Avenue in Brighton.  Please reply to this thread if you can join us . . . PLEASE DO!!!!  We've been meeting regularly on the 2nd Thursday of each month.  Great food, great company, great fun!

After my last vacation (trip report to follow possibly as soon as tomorrow) the last thing I want to look at is another taco- at least for a while.

Yes, I'll see you in Worcester!!!  I can't wait for the chocolate roll at Crown Bakery . . . the dogs at George's Coney Island . . . and Pizza at the Wonder Bar for starters!
 
If there's a particular neighborhood or food you want to try on one of our monthly meet-ups, 2nd Thursdays of month, make a suggestion.  I'd be willing to meet in the middle.  Warmer weather and longer days are coming up so maybe Chris, Amy, Beth and I could do a road trip to RI on a Thursday night!

I will certainly return to the monthly get togethers in Boston, I just got back from vacation and I've been busy with work and other stuff on the home front.
 
Honestly I thought the May 19 event in Worcester was going to be the only meet up for May. 
 
 
Providence is certainly an option, perhaps later on in the summer. That would be great. There are lots of good ethnic joints on the east side. There's a new Ethiopian restaurant I've been wanting to try. 
 
Haruki is the premier Sushi Joint, Kebab and Kurry has solid Indian food- they even have goat on the menu!

Hope you can join us . . . last saw you in Rhode Island a few years ago.  You should consider coming to Worcester on the 19th too!
