You need to go to the north shore. I can recommend the Clam Box, Essex Seafood and Woodmans. All are reviewed on the site. Walt

I believe you can take the T and a Shuttle bus to Woodman's check the schedule. On an aside, you should not miss Durgin Park while you're in Boston- if I lived far way from Boston, this would be my "right off the plane" stop.

Alas, it's been too many years for me to have been in Boston to suggest a place......but you almost can't go wrong....and yes, Durgin Park is great......and if Betty's Rolls Royce is still there, the raw bar is excellent

Michael, Mollie is having a great time, she got to see her first Broadway show, she is now hooked. I saw a restaurant in Boston that has some good looking stuffed baked clams, those are a must for me. '. Billy boy..........you live in a great city, they treated us well, thanks for the help. Bill

Bill, you've hooked yourself. Now you'll have to foot the bill for her Broadway cravings. Congratulations Gramps.

wanderingjew On an aside, you should not miss Durgin Park while you're in Boston- if I lived far way from Boston, this would be my "right off the plane" stop. I second that! I think my daughter went to BC because of Durgin Park. My first time there Quincy Market was still a market 50+ years ago.

Bill, Glad I could be of assistance. How did the car service work out? I'm guessing the roast beef sandwich you had was at DeFonte's. Love that sandwich! Have fun at Durgin Park. That Indian Pudding is great stuff. A bit of pudding AND ice cream in each spoonful is divine!

Bill, Don't know how long you're going to be in Boston but I lived there for 14 years and if I had time for just one meal it would be at The Daily Catch on Northern Ave. Enjoy!
