WHAT A FIND!!!
Saveur Magazine featured an article on Small, Regional, Hot Dog Companies around the USA. Many list their web sites and will ship. it would be interesting to order some dogs from all 32 purveyors to find the Best Regional Hot Dog in America. A good 4th of July project for someone.

Because Roessler Yellow Tags are still no more then I'll take Hummel's, although I never could stand Claire Hummel, and used to dip her curls in my inkwell in third grade because she was so uppity about her father's company.

Ben was in the first row. Miss Langer had caught him fooling around too many times, so she made him sit up front where she could keep an eye on him.

Foodbme, thanks for this article. I've had a few on this list. Thumann's is the best beef/pork frank. Sahlen's, Usinger's and Zweigles are very good. I would have liked to see Best's, Usinger's, Sabrett, and Boars Head for beef dogs.

They had my favorite, Thumann's on the list. I love them!
