'Heart Attack' Sandwich Can Stay on Menu: Judge New Yorkers can still order up an instant heart attack. The Second Avenue Deli won a court fight with a Las Vegas-based burger joint Friday in a battle over the names of their gut-busting foods. The New York deli's sandwich called "instant heart attack," is made of sliced pastrami and fried potato latkes and it costs $24.95. The burger chain Heart Attack Grill opened for business in 2005 and sued the deli for trademark infringement. A federal judge in New York sided with the deli. Deli owner Jack Lebewohl tells the Daily News that he's delighted by the ruling.

hard to trademark 'heart attack'. In one way I wish Heart Attack Grill would have won, then they could claim ownership the 2 heart attacks I've had, along with the bills for them and two transplants that followed...

The "Jetbow" from the Carnegie will get you much faster with more bang for your buck... " Unless you are a fan of the Giants and would rather die before eating it. http://gothamist.com/2012...ving_tim_tebow_his.php Or for a few extra bucks you can really punch your ticket faster at 2nd Ave. Deli by ordering a pastrami sandwich (more meat) ditching the bread and using 3 knishes instead of potato latkes. 2nd Ave. Deli can also sell the "triple bypass" sandwich now.

How can you trademark "heart attack" - that's pretty weak. I'm glad common sense prevailed.

I think Heart Attack Grill is down to the one location in Las Vegas. My Mother calls it Two Ton Tony's.

They had a few locations in Arizona and one in Dallas. How many people are going to want to sit in a restaurant in a hospital gown that Fatty Arbuckle was sweating in an hour ago? That silliness has a shelf-life.
