CT pizza with a baby!

Hi! I am traveling from south jersey to Boston in September and need some suggestions. I would like to stop in CT for some pizza but need some suggestions that would be baby friendly ( I have a spunky 10 month old). Are there any good places where the wait wouldn't be super long? We will be there on a Thursday around 730 or 8 pm.. Thanks!!

I don't have an answer myself, but I hope you get an answer. The only CT pizza place I've been to was Frank Pepe's. We arrived about 7:30 or 8 and had a bit of a wait but not much. I would suggest calling ahead to explain your situation and ask if the pizzeria could help ease your wait.

Hi All, Is Frank Pepe's in New Haven? If it is, was there with bike group, told we had to wait one hour.........hmmm must be a great pizza place. I regret not getting a chance to go back there before moving to Indiana.

I would think if you went earlier like 6 you'd have a better chance getting right in to a place.

Zuppardi's Apizza in West Haven. Friendly neighborhood place, and fine for kids. As good or 99+% as good as Frank Pepe's, without the Frank Pepe's wait 179 Union Ave. West Haven, CT Exit 43 heading 95 North. Exit 44 heading 95 South. Glenn

Jerry's in Middletown has excellent pizza - by the slice if that's your preference. IMO, best traditional pizza in CT - more NY style than that of thin crusted Pepe's (also excellent and well known, but different style plus Pepe's is not all that child friendly, plus expect a wait). Jerry's is a little out of the way from I-91, but not too far from Rt 9 to get back onto I-91. Very informal strip-mall type environment, but very high quality pizza, well known throughout central CT. Well worth the small detour. http://www.jerrysct.com/menu.php - 635 South Main St, Middletown, CT http://roadfood.com/Restaurant/Overview/221/jerrys-pizza
