Hip hip hooray! World beer production hits record high in 2011!

According to this article, global beer production hit a record high of 50.9 billion gallons (that's a whole lot of beer!) in 2011 - up 3.7% from 2010. Did you know that China is the world's largest producer of beer and has been for 10 straight years? For some reason I naturally assumed it was the U.S.
