http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFBZdXTepjw This is the one that I saw a few months ago. Isn't this the same place? Seems like after IHOP and McD's, Red Lobster is getting to be a rowdy place. First and only time I seen a catfight in a restaurant was believe it or not in the first, early version of Red Lobster around early 1980's between two booths in the bar section between to ladies standing on the seats behind each other.

As a sidebar to the story there's a link to the earlier assault at the same restaurant...I wonder if the attackers were ever brought to justice. At least in this case other customers stepped in and detained the perpetrators.

The two times I've ever been to the Red Lobster here in town, there were altercations... both times were due to someone that had only been waiting a few minutes for a table, getting mad that someone else who had been waiting longer got seated before them. It was somehow "disrespectful" and the management needed to "STFU", "show some respect", and "make it right" or they'd have a part of their anatomy "sued off".

So did the altercations remain verbal or did they escalate? Did you as a witness get to testify in court?

Fairview Heights is close to East St Louis. At least there were no firearms used. And throwing a glass because your water is getting filled up too often? Man, what an attitude! Everytime I hear or read about incidents like this, or someone calling 911 because their order was messed up at the drivethru window, my faith in our country surviving takes another dip.

ScreamingChicken So did the altercations remain verbal or did they escalate? Did you as a witness get to testify in court? Verbal but LOUD, with the exception of one of the troublemakers slapping a menu out of a hostess' hands. Cops showed up for that one, but the situation was handled well by the restaurant so no need for me to get involved.
