. Rolands Mini Mart in Bourg sells the most amazing crayfish pies. Big Mike’s BBQ Smoke House in Houma has ribs, brisket, everything you could possibly pull off a cow. There’s also Schmoopy’s in Dulac, which has incredible gumbo. Right near there is the Chauvin Sculpture Garden by the artist Kenny Hill. It’s filled with about 100 concrete sculptures: blue-skinned angels, red-robed knights, Jesus figures in jeans, towers and gates. It’s one of the most unexpected things you’ll see in the bayou.
