Ipad Ordering

How would you like to sit down at a restaurant and place your order via an iPad? Good idea or not? I like the idea because I could add the notation... NO CILANTRO!!! But... Would it cut down on service from the wait staff? Would it affect tips ? How would restaurants keep people from walking out with their ipads? Chains aren't very attractive.  While waiting for your food you could play Angry Birds and ignore your friends.
