If you enjoyed the previous Roadfood Digest post of actors reading yelp reviews, you should enjoy these others, too. I find them hilarious, especially the one with the little candies at the Olive Garden!

BB!!! Those are hilarious! It's always amazed me when customers are "bitterly disappointed" over some misstep on the part of a restaurant. These readings are a scream. So glad I found this post!

love2bake- Glad you enjoyed them. Some of the reviews on yelp are so ridiculous, that almost seem like a parody of themselves. My all-time favorite was a review of Stroud's in Kansas City that ripped the place because they didn't like the salad.

6star- Sorry that my post was confusing. The one from Stroud's was not one of the reviews read by an actor. It is just one of my personal favorites and shows why I have a problem with yelp.

No, I agree the unmoderated thing isn't ideal--the punishment that was taken on that pizza shop owner in Florida this week is another good example--but there has to be something that gives you immediacy, which is why Yelp has gone to the front of the pack, that isn't just an open feed off the internet. I think Yelp thought they'd avoid some of that by making you register. It still doesn't mean you got a half lick of sense. :)

Nancy- I have a love/hate relationship with yelp. Many of the reviews are so ridiculous, in both praise or condemnation, that it is hard to take them seriously. But, I have found some wonderful little places (Woodruff's Cafe in VA is one) through yelp. Like anything else, it's how you use it. BTW, I missed what you mentioned about the pizza shop owner. Can you tell me more?
