Oh how I'm going to get raked over the coals for this question.....
 
Do any of you ever travel with the griddle fired up so it is hot upon arrival?

    Not now, but used to when I did movie catering.

      Hell I have driven from Springfield to Jacksonville (30 miles) with my smoker running and smoke pouring out of it. I saw one state trouper and boy did he ever see me. LMAO. But he didn't turn around and I got to the contest on time.
