SeamusD If I'm buying it for home, it's Hunt's with no HFCS. I've had it before and it's pretty good, and now I want to try the Heinz Organic. However, when the store brand (Food Club) is on sale for a buck a bottle it's tough to pass up. The only thing I use ketchup for is french fries, and when salt's called for I prefer to add it to the ketchup and not the fries.

I put ketchup on everything and its regular Heinz. I've tried Hunts on a few occasions and about half way through the bottle, it just seemed to be sour and i'd start missing Heinz again. I can never forget the Hunts commercials either, telling us that it tasted more like Heinz now. What was the point? Might as well buy Heinz in the first place.

I have become fond of Chef Tomato Ketchup, which is made with malt vinegar. Kind of hard to find in the U.S., though. Bart

I'm not a big ketchup fan but on occasion I use it. Mostly I use it on a meatloaf sandwich. Have ever since I was a kid. Making meatloaf tomorrow for Sunday dinner. Guess I'll be using that lone bottle of ketchup we have Monday for lunch!

I've seen it at Shoprite when it still had a British section (the ones in my area seem to have eliminated it) and I THINK I've seen it at Fairway. Online, Food Ireland sells it, among others. Bart

I have a 4 year old who puts ketchup on everything. EVERYTHING. I like it too, in vastly smaller quantities and on vastly fewer foods. Simply Heinz (the one without HFCS, maybe it's Heinz organic?) is all we use.

My personal favorite is branded Red Gold Ketchup. It is only found in the states surrounding the plant in Indiana. Red Gold is the largest producer of private label ketchup in America. AFAIK, the Red Gold formula is not sold under any private label. It sometimes shows up in schlock houses around here. I also stock up when visiting the midwest.

We love Red Gold, and feel lucky to be in the distribution area. We have been die-hard Heinz (original) fans for over thirty years, but after trying Red Gold in a restaurant, it's all we buy. It's actually better than that wonderful Heinz! And since then we have found that all of Red Gold's tomato products are great -- that's all we have in the cupboard now for stewed and diced tomatoes and sauce and paste.

Later -- Red Gold tomato juice is the only product I can find that is NOT from concentrate -- it is fresh, light, and delicious, and a good price too.
