Veterans Day 2012

This is what we did for Veterans day 2012. Our marquee said Honk
if you love our Veterans. And honk they did all day long. It was pretty
cool.

And for some reason Saturday I got hungry for some Pizza, but not just Pizza but Smoked Pizza. This is my version of a Buddy Roadhouse Pizza. And Buddy makes some amazing Pizzas.

I did smile all day and really loved hearing those horns all day.
It was very cool. I think I'll put the flags back up for Thanksgiving and Christmas, or do you think that would be too much?

I walked into my local Waffle House this morning and ordered one of my semi-annual waffles. Joyce, my server, asked whether I was a veteran and when I said I was she told me that today waffles are free to veterans. Pretty neat surprise.

Personally I would save them for the Veterans next year.
Our remembrance day is today.

Nicely done Jack.  I should point out though, I don't actually make the pizzas, I only serve them.  And occasionally deliver them to you.
 
Hmm...was this a hint that you might like one of Burt's pizzas around Christmas time?  Maybe delivered frozen from the trunk of my Kansas City bound car?  Whether it was a hint or not, you might just be getting an edible Christmas gift this year.

That would work although that wasn't meant as a hint. I had to go over to the stand this morning and the wind is blowing so hard it blew about a dozen flags out. But I put them right back in and people were still honking. I love it.

You can never display the flag "Too Much".
The flag does not get respectfully displayed often enough in enough places.
Love those car dealers that fly humongous flags!
I saw a flag at an office complex that was old and shredded. I called the Management and asked them to replace it and they did.
Mine flies everyday!
