Stash's in Highland Park has closed

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but Roadfood favorite Stash's here in Highland Park, IL, is no more. It closed about two weeks ago. I never thought the move down the street (close to another popular hot dog place) was a good idea, and the few times I'd to Stash's recently, I was not impressed with the lackluster service or the empty dining room. Still, the hot dogs and fries here were at one time among the area's best, so RIP.
