Opening Hot Dog Shop 200 Per Day Realistic?
I am closing one of my bays down in a car wash I own and putting a small hot dog shop in it. I am working on my business plan and want to know if building to 200-300 hot dogs/sandwiches per day is reasonable. I am modeling my business after one that is about 15 miles away and have heard that they are doing a minimum of 200 per day. I realize food quality and service are needed for any business but just need to have some realistic numbers from current or former owners. I few years back I mentioned 200 a day to a roadside vendor and he said that it should be easy to achieve 200 per day. Just need some reaffirmation. Thanks in advance for your response.
