My custom Taco truck build
Fri, 01/18/13 1:16 PM
( permalink)
Hello fellow food truck enthusiasts, a little background about myself: My name is Kenny and I own Taco The City, a gourmet mobile food truck that specializes in Mexican street foods, particularly the different variations of the Taco. I am a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and am now focusing on my major of Entrepreneurship/Business Management. I also have vast experience with Commercial construction including metal framing, Customer Service, and computer graphic design. I will be posting pictures along my journey to document my food truck build. (waiting out my 30 day period...)

Concession window assistance
Wed, 01/23/13 12:42 AM

Ok, so today I "gutted" out my truck, kept only what I wanted...I cut the holes on the roof for my hood ventilation, and for my AC unit. I also started installing the wall studs that will go behind my wood and stainless steel. I need to cut out the opening for my concession window, but am still debating on which one and what price to pay? Has anyone found a 5 to 6 FT window for under a grand? Any help is highly appreciated...

Thanks chasendad. Ok now that you break down the price, it doesn't seem so bad. Thats actually reasonable compared to the $1700-$1800 ticket I've been seeing.
