Equitment mounting

I got a new to me trailer,that has two fryers,stove,and a grill;I know I'm keeping the fryers and I'm not sure yet till i decide if I'm going to keep my working menu or do something diffrent.
My question is the former own just put in new floors and didn't mount the equitment for the reason of not wanting to drill holes in the floor if the next guy didn't want the same stuff;Fine, now My question how do you mount floor standing equitment?Are there some type of floor mounts or do you drill up though the floor and bolt though the legs or what? I'd like to get this project started this week.

 - good question.  I've been contemplating the best way to mount my equipment too.  I like the base flange idea Dr of BBQ recommended.  I think they'll work with just about anything with legs.  The post was very helpful.  thanks guys.

Most HD's want your equipment on casters so you can clean under and around them. Use ratchet straps on anchors (D rings) to the floor or walls when in transit.

I'm not being a Richard Head type here but how are you going to clean behind your fryer? Or for that mater under it?
 
Here's some past experience talking, I had an almost terrible accident while pulling my trailer once on the highway at 55 MPH. I hit a really big bump in a road project and my trailer went sideways 90 degrees from my truck. I was in the middle of a long bridge on a four lane and a semi was storming by next to us at about 65 or 70 at the time. I thought ok take out the trailer I don't care but I'm going to protect the employee and my life in the mean time. The trailer swung back into line just before the semi went by with his air-horn blasting. Nothing in my trailer moved with the exception of a radio on a shelf, microwave,  a box of straws and the drawers all opened. My BBQ sauce pump and container didn't even move off the counter.
 
When I built my trailer I built it way, WAY, WAY to heavy trying to contend with what ever might happen. I see a lot of people here doing the same thing. Now I use tie-down straps on the cooler and that's all.

And I promise you I have lightened my load in a lot of other areas, along these lines over the last 8 1/2 years as well. Of course I don't drive like I'm driving my car I'm much more conservative while pulling my trailer. LOL
 
All I'm saying is don't make your normal day job, serving food, cleaning up, repairing equipment, replacing equipment, any harder than it has to be.

So the base mount is the way to go?Someone did bring up a good point,If I use the base mount system how do I clean under and around?If I go with D rings,What could I mount them too.The floor would be soild but don't see how I could keep it from tipping over.If I mount to the walls not sure there is much there it mount too.

No use both. Use D Rings on your walls at the studs and floor rings to keep the fryer etc from moving. Something as heavy as a reach in cooler can easily be held in place with two D-rings and a motorcycle tie down strap. Your not driving all those race cars you built, and it's not likely your going to have someone pushing you into the outside wall ether.

  If I read that right you are using Base Flanges as well, are you having issues with them collecting grime and if so how are you cleaning them out?  It would seem difficult to clean inside the pocket. 

They wipe out very easily. And if you need to you use a screw gun and take them out once every 6 months or a year and scrub the area and put them back. It only takes a few seconds to put them in or to remove them.

It's not hard at all doc, I can simply unscrew them, by hand, and move all of my equipment to clean.

Taking apart that pipe union fitting nut and getting it lined back up is a lot harder than using what I pointed to I promise you. And after you take it apart your fryer is going to be what 3 -4 inches shorter in the front than in the back? Of course if you have drained it I guess that wouldn't be a really big problem unless your moving it to clean behind it. It sure isn't going to roll very well.  But with the basic flange you need only raise the fryer up about 3/4 on an inch. and it'll still sit level. And if you wanted you can get a big enough floor flange to leave the (all 4) casters on it.  But if that's what you prefer good for you.

It's not difficult at all and all 4 casters are still on, you just can't see them in the picture. It was just a suggestion.
