 Advice on cooking dogs.

Hi there everyone,

So I was curious which way of cooking dogs do you find much better? Currently I steam mine.

I see a lot of people boil them. Does that take away from flavor?

      What chefbuba said.....quick answer from me - I used to steam....had a hard time with them drying out my dogs a bit...all mine have casings on them so your mileage may vary.  Now I boil and they are super juicy baby.

        Simmer natural casing dogs..never boil. The can also be charbroiled - they do this in Chicago with Vienna Hot Dogs
         
        Griddle or charbroil skinless dogs. Watch ingredients as some ingredients do not allow dogs to hold up well over time on a flat top.

          Zum....well boiling may be too strong of a word with what I do.  I have a double boiler so I guess I am simmering and not actually boiling...but good point!
