Stop the presses!!!
Mrs. Metro brough home a jar of Frontera Chili Starter last night.
WOW!!! (relative to any canned chili).
"Recipe":  brown 1/2# ground beef - or chunks if you have more time, add the "starter" and 12 oz. liquid of your choice (water, beer, beef stock).  Simmer 20 minutes.  ENJOY!!!
Our batch fed us last night with enough left over for another meal.
(The version we used was black bean w/ chipotle.  For those who have an aversion to beans in chili, be advised that I had to hunt for the very few black beans in the mix).
