plywood backing or no? Mon, 04/8/13 3:10 AM (permalink)
Hi all,
I finally got some spare time and started biulding my truck, it had no support beams but thanks to the all the builders here i got an idea of what to do anyways it's time to put up the stainless but I measured ad noticed that I would only be able to fit some 1/4 plywood and it may spill a bit ovet the door opening, is it really necessary to put up plywood?
I'm only planning on hanging a small hood but it will be suported by the roof beams and the new studs I put up.
the beams are 2X1 aluminium BTW.
any comments?

Thanks
