Would you eat insects?

I have been to countries that consume all kinds of insects. I confess that I have never tried them. I saw the in Brazil, Argentina, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico. Mostly fried and spiced but also many other ways. The UN believes that food sustainability will have to rely on insects due to their availability, nutrition and various other things. I saw folks in South America and Central America eating them like French fries. They apparently enjoyed them as they were gulping them down.
I know that in the USA, many folks are consuming cicada's and preparing them many different ways. It appears that we will have billions in abundance very soon.
I know that most Roadfood.com folks will turn up their nose to this and I probably will also but food availability in the future is in doubt for the masses. http://eatocracy.cnn.com/2013/05/14/eat-insects-save-the-world-says-the-u-n/?hpt=hp_bn11
