Grove Diner in Warwick RI now Dinese's Diner

Just got back from Dinese's Diner. Found out that "Frank" who owned the diner for 32 years sold it to "Dinese". Frank is still behind the counter acting as the grill man, so it seems like nothing has changed as a result of new ownership.

quote:Originally posted by angelfood How was the food?????? Just went to the Grove Diner for lunch, now known as Dinese's diner and revised my list accordingly. Had three loaded hot wieners and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were hot and fresh and were ok. Ever since I had onion rings on Ted's Red Hots in Buffalo, all other rings just don't compare. The hot wiener sauce was milder and meatier than most, it didn't have that pungent celery seed spice that most wiener sauces tend to have. Overall a fair experience. Apparently they have Fish n Chips and Chowder on Fridays. I'll have to go back on a friday to try it out. Today's special was the classic New England dish, American Chop Suey.
