Random acts of Kindness Fri, 05/24/13 5:51 PM (permalink)
We had 10 firemen from all over the Country here the other night. The National Fire Academy is about 1/8 of a mile away and firemen of all ranks come to it for advanced training, a week or two. They ate, loved it, after they asked for their bill, a Frederick businessman who was eating here too, went over to my Waitress and paid the $230.00 bill, and included a $46.00 tip. He said, I owe it to you guys!!
They then additionally tipped the Waitress $50.00. I was moved by the man's kindness!
Any stories out there along the same line?
