Miss Dot Domilise of Domilise's Po-Boys in New Orleans passed away Mon, 08/19/13 3:59 PM (permalink)
Sad news to report. One of the nicest ladies I ever met in the restaurant industry, Miss Dot Domilise  passed away in June at the age of 90 yrs young. She was a mainstay for over 70 years at her family restaurant in New Orleans, serving some of the best po boys I have ever eaten. Many Roadfooders will remember her appearance on Rick Sebak's national PBS documentary, Sandwiches You Will Like.

I will miss her smile, delicious po boy sandwiches, and cold Barq's root beer in a bottle.

Here is a link to a news obit about her.

RIP dear friend. You shall be missed.
