Non-US Paypal Accounts not accepted

I really wanted to join today, but for some reason you've set up PayPal so it won't accept non-US PayPal accounts. So what do I do now? Give up? I could send you a dollar check (on my Indiana bank) but that'll take too long.

Dweller- Hell, Stephen will take Pigs and Chickens, Pieces of Eight, Indentured children, MPC and even gift certificates at BBQ places in North Dakota. I was thinking of floating a Bond Issue to cover my costs. The Mayor.

Ok, I managed to create a US PayPal account on my US bank account -- I should have thought of that earlier!
I've successfully paid for the Roadfood Insider. But I can't access it yet. I guess my access has to be set by hand?

It is automatic, but because you used e-check it takes a couple days to clear. An easy way to status check is when you see a "Roadfood Insider" icon next to your posts.

A good month has passed and still no answer, so I'll ask again: why can't I pay with PayPal from the Netherlands ? I use this service (PayPal) a lot and all over the world. So why doesn't Roadfood.com accept my money ?

Just saw this thread... I would have problems with this too being in the UK, a money order is out of the question really as it is not cost effective to send for the amount involved. I have a verified international paypal account of some 4 years standing so yes it is frustrating not to be able to use it :(.
