Warm rice pudding is good for breakfast. I think they serve it at the buffet at the Chateau Lake Louise resort in Canada if I remember correctly.

I've enjoyed rice for breakfast since I was a child. Steaming hot, with butter, sugar, and a splash of milk or cream in it. Add some toast and it makes for a great breakfast, especially on a cold, snowy morning. I'm hungry just thinking about it!

My wife is same way, loves rice as a breakfast cereal. Cracks me up. I cannot think of it in that way. It's a dinner food for me.

Congee is a standard breakfast in China. It's basically rice soup.

My wife is fom Shanghai, lived in Tokyo for 10 years, and would eat rice at the movie theater if i'd let her.  Luckily "i've" gotten her hooked on Jasmine rice.

Anyone familiar with rice pudding. My mom used to make it and I was not as crazy about this as I was bread pudding. But could rice pudding be characterized as a breakfast side dish? probably more of a dessert.
