$9 Lobster Dinner @ Collin's Irish Pub

It's been 20 years since I left Morris Plains, NJ. Last week I returned to Morris Plains and was stunned to discover that their $8 lobster dinner is still available ... but it's now $8.95 and only avaiable Monday. Tuesday's special is prime rib. I was happy with both. -doug

Yeah..been there...right next to Arthur's.. Also, while passing thru area, just discovered Pub 199 in Mt. Arlington...$10 1 1/4 lb. lobster EVERY DAY! Plus dirt cheap King Crab and Snow Crab...unbelievable!

When it comes to Pub 199, I have to mention the Buffalo Wings as well. Those are "top 5" category for me. Well worth the visit if you are not a fan of lobster. As for Arthur's their steak quality has really fallen off, in my opinion. But what can you expect for 10 dollar steak.

I doubt that they keep food costs under 35%!!!! They must hope to make it up on the booze.

Tamandmik....have you ever tried the burger at Arthur's?....may be the best anywhere.. and I've had 'em all over the country! And sure, the rib eye is quite fatty on the edges...but once you cut that off, still think it's a terrific, flavorful steak..

I did a search for Pub 199 to see if they had a website and this thread came up – never tried Collin’s but we will. Tonight we are going to Pub 199 – clams – mmmm – we are also going to try the wings as another poster suggested in another thread. I am starving and cannot wait to get out of here and in front of 2 dozen of those beauties and some butter!!
