There is also one in Tuckerton, NJ. We always stop by when heading down to Southern New Jersey.

As far I know Stewart's is not really a 'chain' so to speak, but individual restaurants that are licensed to use the formula for the root beer..they get to use the Stewart's name, and logos....but I dont think there are any requirements as far as the food is concerned...there is a 'Stewart's' in the Milford/Matamoras PA area as well...

Stewart's is a chain, with about 60 outlets, most in the Northeast, more than half in New Jersey. The root beer and other drinks you see in the supermarket is a separate operation.

Yeah, sounds like an interesting operation. I ate at one in Hyntington, WV this week. Root beer was really good, akin to A & W. I don't like boiled hot dogs, and I thought that was what I had. There are about 5 in the Huntington area.

The Stewarts in the Huntington area are actually a different entity than the others.

In June I ate at a Stewart's in Marion, Ohio, on North Main St. (OH 4/423) along the northern outskirts of town.
