Ken Hoffman, a local columnist who writes a weekly 'Drive-thru Gourmet' column that is mostly a shill for the latest 'for a limited time only' fast food offerings, has a blurb stating that Krystal is opening their first Houston location in a couple of months.
I've had to go back and review the Krystal thread, which I had just ignored before.
It's on the far north side of town, just a few exits south of Dallas, actually
, so late-nite runs won't be a practicality, but I'll have to get up there and try it.
They're claiming they've added a larger Black Angus burger for Texas appetites, but I found the BA Burger on their website. Also, according to Hoffman a Double BA, with 2 meat patties, bacon and cheese.
Maybe I'll have to take a room at a motel nearby so I can have several meals!
