Annunciation Cathedral (San Francisco)--Valencia near 14th St.--will occur the weekend of Sept 17-18. If you like Greek food and live in the Bay Area, you won't regret giving it a shot.

I bet these are pretty common around the country. http://www.greekfestival.org/about.html The one here has gotten so popular they have to run shuttle busses because the neighborhood can't handle the crowds.

The same thing occurs in Knoxville, TN. The Greek had to move their festival from their church to the Worlds Fair park due to the crows, parking and having to shuffle.
They are always fun and the Greek community tends to have some of the better restaurants in Knoxville. The most famous was and is Regas which has almost a 100 year history here. Dave Thomas of Wendy's got his start there.
