That picture reminds me of the old European in Boston's North End. Their pizzas were shaped like that. They did something I've seen nowhere else; they would top their pies with a generous handful of shredded salami. The shreds would char and crisp up... heaven, I tell you. European, you are missed.

It reminds me of Adriatico's in Columbus, OH. I think there is one in Cincinnati as well. They have always claimed to be NY style pizza which I did not understand but seeing that one, I get it now. It is very good and you can get a large one topping for $10.00 on Monday and Tuesday after 5:00.

that looks nothing like the NY Style pizza I know. It may be made in NY, but NY style is different.

There is an Adriatico's in Cincinnati, near the University of Cincy. You are correct that they claim to be NY style pizza. It may not be NY style, but they have a good, spicy sauce.

Adriatico's sicilian pizza[and the 'Bearcat' pizza, in particular] look like Adrienne's square pizza, but Adriatico's "regular' pizza is round. Neither may be like the "NY style" they claim, but it is some of the best pizza you can get in Cincy!!

Looks like a nice NY style Sicilian pie to me. Yummy! Most places never cook them enough, and they wind up too doughy. That nice crisp bottom is outstanding!

That's funny, what I like about NY Style Sicilian pizza is the unndercooked doughy texture, as long as the bottom is crunchy. Luigi's on 88th and 1st does a great job.

Definitely different than the classic "NY Style", but definitely one of the best pies I've had in a while. I'll have to go there to try the slices. I hope they're as good as the whole pie. I've found that many slice places are cranking them out for quantity as opposed to quality. Most I've tried have really bland dough and and poor quality cheese. I think Bleecker Street Pizza, Joe's Pizza, Two Boots, Twins, the REAL Ray's on Prince Street, and the pizzeria on the corner of 78th and Broadway (can't remember the name) do pretty good slices.
