My restaurant is in a small town in the south, And for some reason we have days that just are beyond flat and into sucky! For no apparent reason things will drop off. Anybody else have this problem?

Yep Always had some days like that but with the economy in the tank those days have become more frequent. If I ever figure out the why on those days I will write a book and retire from the restaurant business Herman

Not a place in the Country that doesn't have those kind of days...it all works out as long as your turning out quality food.

Yesterday and today were not even worth heading out. Beyond slow, and today was cool and sunny, our worst days in months right out of the blue. But, the entire mall was slow, no one at Lowes either.

Slow days generally go hand-in-hand with the days right before paydays. I tracked it for 2 years.

Dead for breakfast on Wed, good lunch. Good breakfast today, slow lunch.... As chewey said...as long as it works out at the end of the month, that's all that counts.

this entire week has been weird. My expected slow days are killing it, and vice versa. Who knows....

Well, yesterday (Friday) was a winner, my best day yet. Started at 11am and the last customer came around 6pm, right after I had cleaned the grill. Steady all day, with maybe an hour lull. I made it the whole day on a half a pack of smokes, and still had one left when I left to head to Sam's for soda and buns, so not much down time and they nearly cleaned me out of food. Almost every customer asked if I would be in my spot through the winter. My only response is to tell them if they keep coming I will be here.
