wendy's burgers taste like cafeteria food

they taste like the burgers i used to get at high school. i'm sticking with burger king. thanks to the Whopper freakout commercial i've been eating plenty of whoppers lately and the meats a 100 times better, the overall sandwich 200 times better then a double cheeseburger from wendys. i do go to the wendy's to get the fries though(they're next door) since burger kings are too salty. thoughts?

I don't know Danvers at all, but I'll bet we can ween you from Wendy's and BK and ind you someplace 220 times better.

I hoping we have some veteran RF'rs who can save you ...

I'll take a Wendy's burger over a Whopper. Everytime I get a Whopper it's luke warm at bestA and the meat......... Well I'll just say I prefer Wendy's.

Why not get a real burger someplace?

I wouldn't say that Wendy's burgers taste like "cafeteria food", but there *is* a huge difference between the taste of Wendy's burgers and BK's burgers. I must admit that BK makes a great burger that beats Wendy's in my book.

PHEW! I'm glad there's someone that feels the same way I do about Wendy's food. All of their food is atrocious in my book.

My biggest problem with Wendy's is the size of the burger keeps shrinking, and the price goes up. If you want bang for the buck Checkers is hard to beat.

WEndy's used to be good, but that was more than 10 years ago. They are the last place I'd want to go now. Every one I've been in over the past few years has been filthy.

I agree you get a big bang for your buck at Checkers/Rallys, expecially when they have that 2 for $3 Big Buford promo, which is every other month.

I haven't had a burger at BK in many years. Are they still primarily a microwaved burger? At one time, they precooked their frozen patties & microwaved them upon order to rewarm them. I did have some of their fries with a chicken sandwich about a year ago. Only a few - along with half the chicken sandwich . Really teriible stuff.

I like Whoppers, but yes, they are of the microwaved version (at least in my area). Lukewarm burger with a soggy bun.
