where to eat in mesa,az

so next week we are heading down to mesa from washington.  going to working out of the airport down there.looking for some good mom and dads places.any help.thanks  mic

Which Airport? Mesa has several; Falcon Field and PHX Mesa Gateway + Sky Harbor in Phx and Scottsdale Airpark in you guessed it, Scottsdale.
How long will you be here and where will you be staying and what kind of food do you like? Will you have a car? Mesa is a pretty spread out place. From East to West, it's 18 miles long. Close to 500,000 people live there and it's larger than Miami, Cleveland, St. Louis, Minneapolis and Buffetbuster's beloved Pittsburgh!
Mesa is the largest city in the United States that is not a consolidated city-county or a county seat. It covers 133 square miles.
I'll be glad to recommend places once you give me more details.

Technically, Nando's is in Gilbert but close enough. It's less than a mile from my house and yes, it's a very good place for Mexican. I would have listed this one but was looking at places closer to the Airports in question. There are tons of other places to list as well as soon as we hear back from the OP regarding location.

Yep, Los Dos Molinos is still there. The one down on Central Av in South Phoenix has the most "Character". It's in the house that silent movie cowboy star, Tom Mix, lived in. The food is Fiery NM style. Very good.

 The Gateway facility is really expanding and is projected to be a major R & D/Technology Center over the next 20 years. ASU already has a PolyTech Campus out there.
Where are you staying and how long will you be here? So many places, so little time!
