I think the second place finish for "Big Night" is remarkable since very few people have seen it compared to "Julie & Julia".

I am really surprised at the popularity of "Julie and Julia". I thought that even though the "Julia Child" segments were excellent, overall it was a pretty bad movie.

I quite agree with Pigiron. For me it's "Tampopo" with "Ratatouille" & "Big Night" running neck & neck for 2nd. Heck, "Julia and Julia" isn't even the best Stanley Tucci movie on the list, IMO...

I enjoyed every one of the movies on this list, even Soul Food, which was kind of trashy. And I really enjoyed Julie & Julia a lot, even if it wasn't brilliant filmmaking. But Tampopo, for me, stands well above the rest. EDMW placed.

My vote was for Eat Drink Man Woman. Big Night is another favorite.
