The Teeny Weeny Sundae is the perfect $.99 dessert when you've already indulged in some of the famous 66 Diner meals.

One little condiment cup holds a pool of thick fudge sauce, topped with a small (1/4 cup?) scoop of ice cream, then finished with whipped cream, peanuts, a drizzle of fudge, and a cherry.

Open-face Southwestern burger. Didn't realize it was an open-face sandwich when I ordered it, but I still enjoyed it.

Chilies are fundamental to New Mexican food, even at the 66 Diner, which is more hash house than native-foods restaurant.

It's a handsome place by day; at night, the 66 Diner glows.
