Whenever we're at the appetizing counter in places like Russ & Daughters or Zabars, there are always old Jewish ladies working with the clerk to find the oiliest piece of smoked fish. Ray Turner's salmon would make them very happy.

It's quite a drive off Highway 17 into the woods, but proprietor Ray Turner has posted signs along the way so travelers in search of smoked eel know they are on the right path.
