Farmhouse Cafe

4175 US-101, Tillamook, OR - (503) 815-1325
The Farmhouse Cafe is the little eatery in the great big Tillamook Cheese Makers' Cooperative. There are good sandwiches and salads, but the thing most people come for is ice cream to lick while they shop for cheese products.

We are not generally fans of white chocolate and, frankly, we could barely distinguish the white chocolate in this swirl of white and dark (a flavor called Udderly Chocolate Brown Cow), but it was nonetheless a creamy and satisfying cone.

What drew us to the chocolate mix for our cone was this notice posted on the glass front of the ice cream case.

Name your favorite flavor: it is likely you'll find a beef jerky version of it here.

There is always a crowd of people gathered at the counters where you order ice cream by the cone or dish.

Kari McGrath of Fresh Seafood NW across the road informed us that this massive establishment is the second most visited tourist attraction in Oregon. Here you can buy food, eat food, and learn all about the journey from cow's udder to dairy product.
