What makes Genotti’s pizzas peculiar is what distinguishes the pizza of Old Forge, Pennsylvania, in general: the crust. It is as thick as Texas toast, light and airy with a subtle crunch, vaguely reminiscent of the Greek-style crust we know from the fringes of New Haven’s pizza scene.

We came to the neighborhood looking for Old Forge pizza at the wrong time of day. The legendary pizzerias serve at night. But for lunch, Genotti's gave us a good taste.
