Mickey's Dining Car

36 7th St. W, St. Paul, MN - (651) 222-5633
The best thing about Mickey’s Dining Car is Mickey’s Dining Car itself – a stunning yellow-and-red enamel streamliner built by the Jerry O’Mahony company in 1937. Although it has been well-used over decades of twenty-four hour service, it is still in magnificent shape. Breakfast is foursquare!

This ham & cheese omelet is notable for its light and fluffy texture. The ham is cut into long strips, not diced or chopped. The raisin bread toast in the background was also quite good.

There are four booths at the end of the car, but most of the action takes places at the counter seats. Unfortunately, the juke boxes don't work anymore.

According to the menu, Mickey's Dining Car was one of the first diners to be built in the Art Deco style.
