Granary

1500 Poly Dr., Billings, MT - (406) 259-3488
The Granary is the finest place in Billings to dine. Suave service, comfortable accommodations, a serious wine list, and a contemporary menu are its hallmarks. Meals are urbane and sophisticated but with a western twist. Sirloin steak is one of the best in a land of really good steaks.

Full-flavored and tender, this sirloin steak is the best we had in Billings … a city with a lot of very good steaks. To the right is a great big potato, a reminder that Montana's neighbor to the west is Idaho.

This amazing plate of food is the dinner-size Caesar salad, with parmesan shrimp added around the base. A normal-looking, shrimpless Caesar is available as an appetizer.

The caramelized Oregon blueberries burst with flavor. They are arrayed with hazelnut crunch and cheesecake rosettes.

The Granary is an eminently tasteful restaurant, as evidenced by this small sign out front.

The Custer battlefield is less than an hour away from downtown Billings. This picture on the wall of the Granary shows the general on his last campaign.
