Coach's Corner

9178 US Highway 60 W, Sturgis, KY - (270) 333-4317

Our fried-to-order four-piece chicken plate included a toasted buttered bun and was accompanied by a couple of other plates so we could divvy up the chicken among tablemates.

The Coach is a former owner now long-gone. But the famous Colonel Jim's chicken recipe, going back a half-century, endures.

Proprietor Jim Brooks told us that his cooks start baking the day's pies at 8am. This is coconut.
